There was thunder and lightening
In me, and it rained colors…..
It’s a new feeling and there were rainbows everywhere.
I looked at myself in the mirror
The worried lines all gone
There was a smile instead
Of an unfathomable relief.
My body became a painting
In it I found the most beautiful of things
Rivers, plains, mountains, clouds, animals
You, of all the most beautiful.
