The last time

The last time I felt the wind on my face,

Was when I was a little child.

The last time

I felt the warmth of the sun

Was when I was a little child.

Now I have darkness around me

And in the darkness I suffocate

The world around talk about freedom

Freedom to live life

In my darkness

Nobody hears me

The scorching heat of the sun

The clammy air

Enervate me

But nobody hears me

I am forced to wear this shroud

Based on culture and religion

All of it man- made

They have darkness in them

And they coerce it on me

So that I become invisible

To beauty around me

They plunder me.

That too in the name of religion

The smell of tulip
Is in your hair
The smell of lavender
Your cheeks
The smell of rose
Your lips

I could conquer death
To be by your side

The hands that cuddle me
The fingers that rustle through my hair
The warm bosom
The even heartbeat

How I could die this very moment
Wrapped in your arms, my love

The mayhem of lie surrounds me
It poisons every bud when touched

The dagger of lie pressed
